November ends with a bang - sort of

Well, I entered a 1500 FPP 9 person satellite to the $215 Stars Sunday tourney. As I played the 1500 FPP I also played a .10/.20 NL table and I played in the 2380 person $11 MTT on Party.

I quickly became chip leader on the FPP after a donk moved in on my AA then these back to back hands came up:

Seat 2: MK_Sniper (1115 in chips)
Seat 4: ps5555 (2035 in chips)
Seat 5: bethcox4444 (2205 in chips)
Seat 7: can_dollars (2065 in chips)
Seat 8: texanfellow (1275 in chips)
Seat 9: Whatever (4805 in chips)

*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to Whatever [6c 6s]
2 limpers and the SB called and this
*** FLOP *** [Jc 6d Kc]
Beautiful.
MK bets 150 fold, fold, I call.
*** TURN *** [Jc 6d Kc] [7c]
I check and MK
MK_Sniper: bets 915 and is all-in
I quickly call to see the river card:
*** RIVER *** [Jc 6d Kc 7c] [Js]
MK_Sniper: shows [Ks Jd] (a full house, Jacks full of Kings)
Oh well.

Very next hand:
Seat 2: MK_Sniper (2330 in chips)

*** RIVER *** [2c Qd 9h 4c] [Kh]

There's that river again. Whoops.

So instead of having 60% of the chips on the table with 4 left in it I was fighting for my life at around 1550 chips. I chopped away for awhile and caught a couple of good hands and even had a suck out with A10 catching a river flush against a pocket pair to move back into the chip lead with 3 left. I took out the small stack and was heads up with about a 2000 chip advantage. We went back and forth and I gained more chips when this hand came up:

(against Mr. AK himself)

Seat 5: bethcox4444 (4135 in chips)
Seat 9: Whatever (9365 in chips)

Whatever: posts small blind 75

bethcox4444: bets 1500
Whatever: raises 7115 to 8615 and is all-in
bethcox4444: calls 1885 and is all-in
*** TURN *** [Td 3h 7s] [Kh]
*** RIVER *** [Td 3h 7s Kh] [6h]
bethcox4444 said, "wata joke"
*** SHOW DOWN ***bethcox4444: shows [As 2s] (high card Ace)
Whatever: shows [9s Ks] (a pair of Kings)

A beautiful suckout. I unregistered and plan on playing 41 $5.25 heads up matches with my tournament dollars lol. 3-1 so far - good for $30.

I was an above average stack in the $11 MTT the whole tourney until going out in 324th (out of 2,380) with this stupid hand:

I could've probably cruised into the money but that's the way it goes in MTTs. One big mistake and you can be done when tangling with the big stack. I should've NEVER put my tournament life on the line with AJo against the very biggest stack at the table. Dumb move but I hadn't played in an MTT in a long time. I will remember next time what it's like to bust out with nothing to show after 2 1/2 hours of good poker.

I lost my $10 buy-in on the .1/.2 NL table after working it up to $20 but no worries. An excellent night of poker that only would've been better if I had cashed in the MTT.

All in all +$9 on the night but I have $194 tournament dollars left to be converted in $5.25 heads up matches. I should be able to get my account over $1,000 with these matches and get another check Fedexed and ready for the next bonus.

$4053.28 bankroll as November ends as my best month yet. Made almost $800 this month.
